My Philosophy

People are beautiful Just as they are

In a world shaped by Photoshop, Facetune, and impossible standards of “perfection,” I aim to reveal the beauty that already exists in everyone. Many of my favorite images are candid and not the traditionally “flattering” poses we’re used to, but honest moments that hold the full spectrum of human emotion. Those in-between, unpolished fragments of life are what I find most beautiful. I hope we can begin to release the idealized and ultimately arbitrary definitions of beauty and instead embrace the vivid, imperfect, extraordinary reality of being human. I see beauty in people and in the everyday, and I hope my photography helps you see it too.

I would describe my approach as emotive editorial photography rooted in authenticity and simplicity. While stunning locations are fun, they aren’t the heart of my work. My focus is always on capturing the innate beauty of the person in front of me and the truth of the moment we’re in.

Hello, I'm Christina.

My photography journey began when I was a kid and my dad showed me how to use his old film camera. Ever since, I see photographs everywhere—the way light falls on a window, a quick glance between people, the quiet beauty in everyday life that often goes unnoticed. Becoming a parent has only made those fleeting moments feel even more precious.

I recently moved to London with my husband and our two sons, who we named after a poet and the stars—small reminders of the beauty inside us and all around us. I’m comfortable with the uncomfortable, curious about everything, and always excited to learn something new. I’d describe myself as eclectic and playful, but still someone who values depth and meaning.

Before photography and motherhood became my full-time world, I spent five years in NYC as an anti-eviction litigator defending low-income tenants. It feels like another lifetime now, but that work shaped how I see people and the stories we all carry. I like to joke that I was the good kind of lawyer, but now I get to do something meaningful in a quieter, more personal way. Through portraiture, I help people hold onto the moments and the versions of themselves they never want to forget. Above all, I want you to feel seen.
